Al Chambers had his first fight for Chokdee, against Mark Nicholson from East Riding Thai on 18th October. Both guys weighed in at 80kgs. Although Mark started quick, Al kept his chin down and kept his cool. Listening well to his corner Al maintained a strong defence and progressive pressure forwards. Al dropped Mark for an 8-count in round three, then twice again in round 4. At which point the referee stopped the contest as Mark was no longer defending himself, taking too much punishment. Congrats to Al on his first win.
