This competitive form of grappling is one of the most effective forms of submission fighting, focussing on pinning your opponent down and then delivering a submission technique (arm-lock, choke/strangle etc)
This is another martial art that sits very well with the ethos of Chokdee Academy in that it offers the competition whilst also being a very technical martial art.
We are lucky enough to have already recruited a BJJ Brown belt instructor and also European MMA Champion, Danny Mitchell. Due to the quality of instruction, and the facilities available, we already have a good group of BJJ’ers who used to travel all the way to Pontefract and Doncaster for this level of tuition. There are several blue and purple belts who also train with us who are affiliated to Combat Base BJJ.
